LBMG employs the Advertising Value Equivalency (AVE) methodology for measuring the success of various media relations programs. AVE is a measure that is frequently used in the public relations industry to “measure” the benefit to a client from media coverage of a PR campaign. AVE’s commonly take the size of the coverage gained and its placement, and calculate what the equivalent amount of space would cost if paid for as advertising.
