LBMG Ethnic Advisory Council

To better reflect the diverse cultures that comprise our province and country, LBMG has recruited five of the most highly sought after multicultural media professionals in Canada to sit on a first-of-its-kind Ethnic Advisory Council.

With this Council, our media relations and buying professionals have the unparalleled opportunity to garner more than 100 years of combined expertise from key publishers, editors and journalists from outlets representing Canada’s rich cultural mosaic. Representation includes, but is not limited to, Chinese, South East Asian, Filipino, Korean, Malaysian and Central and South American cultures.

Through this Ethnic Advisory Council, LBMG is excited to bridge relationships with not only varied ethnic media across Canada, but also the unique demographic of readers, viewers and listeners often not reached through English-language media. In turn, we aim to maximize opportunities for our dynamic and innovative group of clients by offering a unique, multicultural and holistic approach to strategic public relations and media buying.

Our purpose

To build relationships for life, recruiting fanatically passionate employees, delivering on what we say we will to our clients while at the same time maintaining an entrepreneurial culture. We challenge the conventional wisdom of PR and consider ourselves to be part of the renaissance that is putting “public” back into public relations.

Our business

We are in the business of doing three things: applying communications theory; having great relationships with people we want to work with and whose causes and goals we believe in; and taking care of our people while doing it. And, if we are successful, in 10 years we want to have the reputation of being the best in Canada at what we do. That’s our vision, and here’s how we play: with teamwork, responsibility, accountability, quality in our work, quality in our lives.

Our beliefs

The following guiding principles will allow us to measure the appropriateness of our decisions:

A will to succeed
A passion for our clients
Integrity, openness and honesty
Respect for our people
Sustainability in our actions
Judge us by our conduct.
